This paper adopts literature research, field survey and quantitative analysis, discusses the project cost control process. Specific research idea is:from the perspective of YJ construction company, in the construction project cost management, on the basis of relevant theories and research dynamic, detailed introduces the yantai east yu huang top hospital comprehensive building engineering construction projects, the objective and construction of project work, the main work, and analyzes the characteristic of the construction project; Based on the project cost components and WBS decomposition diagram, estimate the cost the goal, and its target cost according to the engineering process decomposition; Then based on the decomposition of project target cost and its components, the use of value engineering theory and the method of earned value, from the project decision-making stage, project bidding stage, construction stage and completion settlement stage discusses the process of the project cost control and cost control method, and analyzes each stage of cost control problems, and puts forward corresponding measures to solve these problems.The significance of this paper lies in:1) most of the literature is limited to the cost control theory research and practical application of cost control theory study is less, this article studies not only can be used as a case reference of construction project cost control, also can do a little make up for the application of cost control theory; 2) the related theory and method of construction project cost and be combined with the specific case of actual, detailed interpretation of the process of cost control, cost control theory and methods into practice, has a strong operating practice significance.This paper studies the main conclusion:1) the target cost method and the earned value method combined with the cost control can not only will be implemented to the individual, also can timely detect overruns problem, to solve; 2) the value engineering method is advantageous to the construction of YJ company to subcontract to sift, building materials suppliers,3) in cost control, special attention should be paid to uncertain factors bring unnecessary cost risk, especially in the contract, security, quality and collaborative project team.4) can set the target cost in a certain range, to the whole process of cost control; 5) in the cost control should be brought into the assessment of the project team.The innovation of this article lies in:1) operation practical strong, will be helpful to the practical cases of construction project cost management.2) put forward a flexible budget and the earned value method, not only can make the cost control become flexible and have certain elasticity, also could detect the problems existing in the cost control in phases, facilitate timely to correct and improve the cost control scheme.
