With the continuous development of driverless car technology, its characteristics of the safety and the high efficiency have become more and more prominent. But driverless car is driven by electricity so that its biggest mileage(endurance mileage) is restricted by the battery, so it needs to be recharged in the process of driving to ensure the normal use of driverless car. Therefore, it becomes the key problems that how to find and choose charging station and how to reasonable layout of charging station in the widely application of driverless car, at the same time it has important significance to solve these problems to improve the efficiency of future city traffic and city life.Now, however, most of studies in the charging station planning focus on the influence of the smart grid so that the lack of research on combined traffic network with traffic flow on the urban environment. And now it is not very satisfactory that the existing vehicle scheduling algorithms are directly used for charging the scheduling for solving vehicle charging of competition lead ing to charging efficiency and use efficiency of charging stations.To solve these problems, this paper combines with characteristics of more driverless cars and vehicle charging demand larger in the future in urban environments. The limitations of information when driverless car in VAN ET environments looking for charging stations would cause adverse competition between vehicle nodes so that vehicle nodes generate greater path spending and the utilization of charging stations is not high, so this paper based on that proposes vehicle charging cooperative scheduling mechanism. The mechanism in a certain extent solves the improper consequences caused by selfish competition between vehicle nodes when they are looking for the charging stations, reduces the time of searching charging stations and effectively improves the utilization of charging stations by vehicle nodes’ collaboration.Then, this paper analyses the application scenario of vehicle nodes looking for charging pile for charging in charging station in VANET environment, and designs the performance indicators and the simulation parameters. Finally, by comparing the simulation based on the principle of preemptive and cooperative principle mechanism proves that vehicle collaboration algorithm has the advantage in the search for the charging time, charging pile of free time and utilization of charging piles and can efficiently achieve the vehicle nodes charging.Finally, this paper designs a method of charging station planning under urban environment. The method uses the clustering algorithm to generate the cluster of the charging needs and each cluster class represents the point on the base of the analysis of urban traffic intersection flow and charging needs. And then the method sets the representative points of the class to the initial position of the charging stations. The method uses the weighted Voronoi diagram to determine the final services scope of the charging station, and the feasibility of the proposed algorithm is validated by computer simulation.
