Valve is one of the key components of a piston compressor, self-reliance type valve because of its simple principle, the advantages of no external control in the field of compressor has been widely used, but at the same time as the valve has the failure rate is high, the valve drawbacks such as low efficiency and not controllable switch process, seriously restricts the piston compressor efficiency and the improvement of operation cycle. Therefore, the improvement valve structure, the implementation of air compressor stepless adjustment to improve compressor efficiency and energy saving is of great significance. At present, the products are mainly in the field of gas piston compressor stepless adjustment is HydroCOM volume stepless regulating system, apply the highest speed of up to 1200 RPM, its key components is a kind of fast response, big flow, switch life can reach more than 1 billion times of high-performance electro-hydraulic valve, but no similar electro-hydraulic valve products on the market, the current localization can only use the conventional solenoid valve replacement, was forced to reduce speed indicators shall apply. University of chemical industry in 2009 "diagnosis and self-healing engineering research center" researchers put forward the active control of positive displacement compressor air valve as well as active inlet valve and its control system design method. In 2011, the research center of the doctoral Dacheng Li active control design of rotary vane type inlet valve of the experimental prototype, and implemented on a small portable piston compressor compressed volume 10%~100% stepless adjustment of functional test. In this paper for the piston compressor valve adopts, the active control method instead of the traditional way for the paper discusses the feasibility of, and then to the advantage of active control methods and the necessary technical conditions are discussed.On the basis of above research results, the first rotary vane inlet valve of the above experimental prototype structure was analyzed, and finds out the shortcomings and the insufficiency, the structure, in turn, made a "modified rotary vane inlet valve" the structure of the design. Specific work content is as follows:(1) The comprehensive analysis of the previous two kinds of rotating vane valve structure, finds out the shortcomings and the insufficiency, the structure, in turn, made a "modified rotary vane inlet valve structure design.(2)The theory analysis by the improved rotary vane inlet valve to replace the original "self-reliance" valve piston compressor volumetric coefficient, pressure coefficient and temperature coefficient, leakage coefficient, flow coefficient and regulating system under the influence of the displacement of the control parameters, and the use of ANS YS software of rotating vane inlet valve structure has carried on the static and dynamic mechanical analysis, and concluded that the valve plate and valve seat deformation and friction loss is because of the friction between the rotating vane structure a big obstacle to practical applications.(3) In view of the above conclusion, we design a new active valve structure and control system:"the elliptical spherical cock type inlet valve". The design concept of the intake valve has two key points:first, the use of the eccentricity of the rotary valve core structure, on the one hand makes the switch for the most part of the process of the valve core and valve seat is not contact with the trip, closer to the close contact friction travel very short; On the other hand in all the closing eccentric valve core and valve seat to produce flexible sealing force, improve the sealing effect. Second, ring type seat up and down each application of a working within the elastic range of elastic sealing gasket, makes the seat under the action of gas pressure difference before and after, can produce tiny elastic displacement in vertical direction. Just can use this structure compressor suction and compression direction of pressure difference before and after the seat is different, further reducing valve core, valve seat near full close state when the friction, and further improve the sealing performance. Elliptical spherical cock type inlet valve has more effective circulation area, control closing time also can realize stepless adjustment, and the compression flow is expected to become a kind of application prospect of active control type inlet valve piston compressor.
