With the acceleration of urbanization and the increasing urban population, greater demands for transportation are generated, and corresponding growth of the number of motor vehicles brings a great deal of pressure to urban road network, frequent traffic accidents and further deterioration of urban ecological environment.In order to tackle severe urban traffic problems, the initial approach is to reduce the number of vehicles on the road, thus it is particularly important to promote urban public traffic system. To better develop the public traffic system and attract more traffic, it is more significant to improve operational efficiency and service level, including establishing bus-only lanes and public bicycle-only lanes, guarantee each right of road and improving of the speed and security. Moreover, the range of public bicycle rental station should be covered the entire city to promote bicycle utilization.To follow-up studies smoothly, at first we analyzed the bus lanes and the influence factors of public bicycle systems, and main influence factors including road geometry size, traffic, geographical features and so on.In the study of bus lanes setting,to achieve these goals, three aspects including network planning, route planning and nodes setting are considered. In network planning, line alignment, covering size and composition, etc. are taken into account. In route planning, cross section of the motor vehicle lanes, the size of exclusive lanes and isolation of other roads are included. Consider vehicle conflicts at the intersection node settings, set the size of the site. In set up the evaluation model of main purpose is to reflect buses only after setting to improve on the performance of the bus.In public bicycle study, established based on points connected into the line, developed into a surface urban public bicycle system, in addition to the above points also need to consider leasing the location, scale set two major problems. Finally set up the evaluation model, evaluate the public bicycle system effectiveness analysis, in order to prove that the bicycle traffic characteristic of flexibility and rapidity.In actual practical application and analysis of the combination of Xianyang, traffic forecast situation and the demand of the xianyang 2020, Some sections of bus lanes set up in line with the requirements set bus lane and laid in the cycling study of public bike system requirements are concentrated.
