The current research in Shaanxi province and the country for the maintenance of roadbed or evaluation methods are not adequate, mainly as follows: with the growth in traffic, the type of vehicles are constantly changing, especially in the tonnage of heavy vehicles has increased a lot, subgrade typical forms and levels of disease are also changing, the existing roadbed maintenance evaluation can’t effectively regulate the content covered embankment practical problems arise, but also the lack of relevance of particular maintenance area roads, and currently the main embankment road conservation partial light affiliated facilities. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the existing norms, to develop a system and evaluation methods in line with local realities in Shaanxi, so that we can complete the design of the survey and evaluation of existing road to scientific renovation of facilities from conservation repairing project strategies developed by leaps and bounds.This paper bases on the current situation in Shaanxi Province trunk highway roadbed survey, summarizing the types of typical diseases of the region roadbed, mainly concluding shoulder damage and dirty, slope defects and defect blocking drainage, retaining wall defect, subgrade settlement,roadbed frothing, roadbed protection and roadbed defects washout, and analyzing, the typical causes of disease, putting forward the trunk highway roadbed maintenance assessment evaluation object and evaluation in Shaanxi Province, the evaluation object to shoulder, slope, drainage, retaining walls, foundation settlement, roadbed Frothing, roadbed and subgrade water protection destroyed, the evaluation including cleanliness, defect degree, drainage, settlement length, frothing deformation, washout length, establishing the trunk highway maintenance evaluation method of Shaanxi Province, basing on multiple regression analysis and statistics to establish a foundation of conservation evaluation model, while using the modified Analytic Hierarchy Process(AAHP), through expert opinion survey, to determine the weight of each index weight and evaluated the weight, eventually establishing the trunk highway maintenance assessment mode of Shaanxi Province, basing on Shaanxi Province trunk highway actual findings, it summarizes the current subgrade transition section and roadside greening existing problems in Shaanxi Province trunk highway, combining with the relevant provisions of the existing specification, summarizing up the appropriate rehabilitation programs. This mode can provide guidance to Shaanxi road maintenance repairing project design and state road reconstruction, while the national highway embankment conservation Repairing Project and State Road Reconstruction provide a reference for.Research output can guide Shaanxi normal trunk road roadbed maintenance work and provide reference and basis for arrangements roadbed maintenance efforts, so as to enhance the level of security operations and integrated services capabilities ordinary trunk roads.
