However,with human beings trying the best to narrow the wide wealth gap between rural and urban areas to make residential architecture suit to socialized, they ignoring the natural adaption of residential architecture, it led to the relationship between residential and environment get worse, the comfort of residential greatly reduced.This paper study on the development of residential architecture and make a deep investigation on villages and towns along river valleys in Qinling area.Through the investigation on the space form and town pattern of the towns, the detail of residential architecture to know about the development of residential architecture. Combine the geographical natural environment conditions to find the assimilation of residential architecture and its buildings are lack of local architectural characteristics. The most important is the residential architecture that people love to shape influenced by the development of the urban residential morphology, but people are not realized the social and environment ecological connotation behind the residential architecture, the ecology of residential architecture is ignored.According to the development dilemma of the residential architecture in Qinling area, in research and summarizes the traditional local-style dwelling houses building thoughts of ecological logic and experience, on the basis of mining and its scientific ecological approach,in addition, analyze by using the basic theory of ecological knowledge to elements in the form of residential architecture and its ecological factors and combination of software technology advantages and disadvantages, concluded that the design ideas and technical methods of traditional residence in villages and towns of ecological. And by this achievement basis to developing tactics of traditional residence ecological, to point out suitability and ecological measures from the residential community form, structural form selection, layout,residential monomer epidermis ecological design, ecological design roof and doors andwindows design, provides guidance and advice for the residential ecological sustainable development in the local villages and towns. Hope this paper be able to promote the inheritance and development of dwelling houses, create a harmonious coexistence of human settlement environment.
