| In the field of communication networks, fibre optic cable is used for long distance signal transmission increasingly, but because of the high price of fibre accessories and the end customers’ inertia, high speed digital copper cable will still act as an important role in quite a long time, and the data rate of copper cable will continue to develop in a higher way. With new standards came out, in which a new key parameter differential intra pair skew was added. Nowadays, cable and wire manufacturers are meeting difficulty in high speed electrical characteristic performances during production process.At present, the traditional telecommunication industry has become a small profit business. Manufacturers have to focus on improving quality and reducing cost in order to keep competitive. So, they should improve the first time pass rate of products to reduce loss since the labor cost and the price of raw material are all increasing.The goal of this paper is to combin theory with actual process. Come out conclusion by using of theory model and design of experiment. Finally, double check above conclusion in mass production. First, introduce the transimission line in theory, and analyze the reason which causes intra pair skew according to current condition of our plant. Second, use fish bone diagram which is one of the IE methods to analyze production problems and confirm preliminary affecting factors. Though the visual analysis and variance analysis to determine the significant factors. During trial run period, control the process on site as plan. Analyze the collected trial run test date by scientific method. At the end, I get optimal process parameters, base on theoretical calculations and analysis. The optimized digital parameters are used on site to examine if they are effective. Through the above optimization, the industrial mass production was implemented quickly, and loss had decreased significantly. |
