Shanghai electric group for multinational companies and domestic joint venture enterprises, from the technology and management with the international requirements of the project, however, at the beginning of the Shanghai electric group set up is geared to the needs of domestic electric power market customers, most of the Chinese people, and start only in factory production and manufacturing, from the overall process and operation of the project lack of establishing international engineering project risk management mechanism and the ability of knowledge system, Shanghai electric group is still a lack of awareness and risk management professionals, can not effectively carried out on the project risk identification, analysis, and formulate corresponding measures, project risk management is still rely on the experience of the project staff and consciousness. Because of the lack of professional project risk management, some project areas there have been serious deviation, and affect the project execution, caused the lag and project schedule overruns, therefore how to strengthen the project risk management, is facing a major problem.In this paper,based on modern risk management theory,common risk root causes especially for Vietnam Guangning are identified and analyzed. A systematic risk analysis and qualitative and quantitative assessment method is proposed suitable for Vietnam Guangning. The paper also expatiates detailed risks and preventive measures against typical risks in execution of power plant EPC project and apply fuzzy comprehensive evaluation of risk assessment methodology along with a case study on an international EPC power plant projectIn addition,this paper attempts to build up a systematic risk management mechanism.Only by grasping risk characteristics and well application of systematic pro-active risk management mechanism and tools can we effectively manage risks. At all events do keep in mind the most basic principles of risk management that risk management should create value. The values in context to the risk management activities are the keys to success risk management and advocated by this paper. |
