In recent years, the power electronic devices are used more and more in our network, resulting in the domestic power grid reactive power and harmonic pollution is becoming more and more serious. This is not only a serious impact on China’s use of electric energy quality, but also poses a threat to the whole power system, and may even lead to accident of power system in power supply system and other serious paralysis. Research and development of a new generation of harmonic analysis and technology as well as the static reactive power compensation technology has been imminent, but the traditional reactive power compensation equipment in the main control chip operation ability is too slow, can not achieve real.time processing of data collection, leading to rapid and effective compensation for power system. With the progress of the times, the birth of a new generation of high.speed digital processing chip DSP chip to solve the reactive power compensator, the slow speed, low accuracy of data, the compensation is not timely issues, using DSP chip as reactive power compensator can meet the requirements of harmonic analysis and the rest of the main control chip. This is an new dynamic reactive power compensator to solve the problems of the low power factor and the big harmonic content base on the TMS320F28335.According as the non sinusoidal signal’s theory of power and real.time to check the public frequency to make sure the synchronous check happen, then get the each part of the harmonic and the reactive power whit the FFT,quickly to compensate the lost power, realize the dynamic wattles power compensation. It’s validated by experiment that this compensator has good ability of compensation.
