Design Of Communication System On Intelligent Pole-Mounted Switch Based On Embedded System

By discussing the current development situation of pole-mounted switch controller at home and abroad, the communication mode and protocol about distribution automation are analyzed in this paper. Multi-thread technology of embedded Linux and Qt’s signals and slots mechanism are not only used to solve the current multi-task of different kinds of communication involved serial port and GPRS communication based on IEC60870-5-101 protocol, Ethernet communication based on IEC60870-5-104 protocol and the short message of Global System for Mobile Communication, but also used to transmit message among them.The achievement of communication control technique about pole-mounted switch controller based on IEC60870-5-101 protocol is studied in this paper.According to the function requirement of pole-mounted switch controller,the design of software and hardware in serial port and GPRS communication and the program of IEC60870-5-101 protocol by Linux are completed to realize the transceiver of information based on IEC60870-5-101 between the pole-mounted switch controller and the upper computer. It can be shown after test that the pole-mounted switch controller can not only realize the functions such as telemetry, remote signaling,remote control and remote regulating but also guarantee the fault message can be transmitted to the upper computer fast and accurately.The achievement of communication control technique about pole-mounted switch controller based on IEC60870-5-104 protocol is studied in this paper..According to the function requirement of pole-mounted switch controller,the design of software in Socket communication and IEC60870-5-104 protocol by Linux are completed to realize the full-duplex communication between controller and the uppercomputer. It can be shown after test that the pole-mounted switch controller can not only realize the functions such as telemetry, remote signaling, remote control and remote regulating but also guarantee the fault message can be transmitted to the upper computer fast and accurately.GSM short message function is designed to achieve the functions involved distance query of switch status, sequence of event, failure warning and software upgrade. Furthermore, the message of software upgrade on the protocol of 101 and104 is extended, which can realize the software upgrade on line by upper computer giving orders.
