Guangming is a rapid developing District of Shenzhen, which in the future, will grow up to be a densely populated, prosperous downtown with high load power, lacking of land for power grid construction. The traditional construction mode includes problems of more area of High-voltage Line Corridor, more Feeder Circuit numbers of Medium-voltage Distribution Network, and limited service availability. Optimizing the voltage level, and developing the 220 k V/20 k V substation, will help to resolve the problems mentioned above.This thesis focuses on the research of power system present situation, problems and the demand forecast of several aspects of access system; several of the main transformer capacity are compared, and the main parameters are studied; the reactive power compensation in detail calculation and analysis, to determine the capacitance, the capacity of electrical reactance; the main wiring is studied, especially the main wiring type 20 k V were studied in detail; the electrical general layout are compared, combined with the actual situation the general layout scheme of the final.This disstertation combines the actual project 220 k V Guangq Qiao substation, this disstertation research results are used for the project, so that the combination of theory and practice, this thesis achieves good application effects.
