The Development Process Of Terminal Building Of Civil Aviation Airport In China

Terminal is born as a new type of construction in the twentieth century. Less than a hundred years from birth to the present time, Terminal developed from the initial single function transport architecture that has no unique style to a separate building system which has full function space and the unique architectural style of the integrated transportation construction. It is very representative because of its rapid pace of development, violent momentum, huge impact. The development process of terminal, can be said as a true portrayal of the political, economic, scientific and technological development in nearly a century.The development of China’s civil airport terminal is slow in early, but rapidly in the later. It can be found that the development process of the civil aviation airport terminal can be divided into three stages through the investigation,that has their own characteristics. Our airport terminal at each stage has different themes, building size and building style. As a summarized article, the content of this paper,is a summary of changes in China’s civil aviation airport terminals in various stages of development, the evolution of the terminal configuration, size, style, technology, and the basic characteristics of each stage of the terminal; and hoped to record the complete development process of the terminal down. Finally, through the research of the development of Xi’an Xianyang Airport Terminal to spy on the development of China’s civil aviation airports terminals.
