In the remote data management center, using C# to develop a set of the parameters setting software which is used to set parameters before meter reading devices leave the factory. the development of Socket server communication software, data analysis, storage and query system for the remote reading meter data management; In the meter reading equipment developed the GPRS communication control procedures, to achieve between the data transmission terminal and the meter reading management center in real-time online communication, and the development of the MBUS bus driver, the realization of communication between MBUS and the water meter, and set communication protocol between the device and the meter reading data management center. Data between remote data management center, meter reading equipment and meter adopts transparent forwarding mode, all the reading devices and water meters are managed by communication protocol in the remote data management center,including basic information and operation parameters, equipment modification, the operation of water meter data collecting, price adjustment, the switch valve etc..With the rapid development of electronic technology and the wireless network quickly, based on the GPRS wireless network of remote real-time online meter reading technology has become more and more mature, the traditional manual meter reading and GSM based active reporting meter reading method are easy to be replaced by based on the GPRS mode of real time online reading, the system would have wide application and good development prospect.
