In the design and manufacturing of CXK5463 turning-milling machine center, based on the reliability test data, conducting an accurate evaluation about the key component(B shaft component) of it will be important about improving the overall machine quality. However, to acquire the data based on the field experimental method will greatly extend the design and manufacturing cycle. Applying the accelerating test method is an effective way to solve this problem, but the B shaft component structure is new and complex, so it needs individually to design an experimental bench to do the accelerating test.A reliability accelerating test bench design scheme for the B shaft component is proposed. On the test bench, the B shaft component workflow and the loading test can be simulated, the fault of B shaft component in the testing can be detected, and the test can be done under high stress levels, so reliability index of the B shaft component can be evaluated in a short period of time.Firstly, creating the function between the stress state and the life characteristics of the B shaft component, and the relationship is called accelerating model. With the model, the life characteristics under the high stress levels and the working stress level can be deduced each other; it also provides the design basis for the selection of maximum output stress of the test bench, which had laid a foundation for proposing of the test bench design scheme. Then, the correctness of the established accelerating model form the statistical significance is verified, and the finite element analysis techniques are applied to conduct a mechanical analysis about the B shaft component under the accelerated stress and proved that the accelerating test is non-destructive.Furthermore, binding the analysis result of the B shaft component workflow and functional component working state on it, a design scheme aimed at the reliability accelerating test bench of the B shaft component is proposed; and the main function of the test bench is identified and the scheme of the mechanical body structure of the test body, hydraulic control, electrical control system is designed in order to achieve these function, and also gave the working principal of the design scheme. After all of these, the technical parameters of the test bench are determined combining the actual condition and the calculating result of the accelerating model.Finally, a loading system design which can simulate the actual stress of the B shaft component and the applied accelerating stress is proposed. Loading system is one of the most important part of the overall test bench, with the loading system, the simulation load can be output in a specific spatial location, and the accelerated test which used cutting force and cutting moment as accelerated stress can be done. Then the loading scheme of the simulate-cut force and the simulate-cut moment is determined separately, and the mechanical structure and control system to fulfill the loading scheme is designed.
