The study of this subject is the sub topic of the National Natural Science Fund Project “The Crowd Evacuation Model Research Based on Acoustic Guidance in Large Space”(51378139)-- the crowd evacuation model of large space. It belongs to the basic research of the whole subject.At present, China is in the peak period of rapid development and ransformation of railway station building. We have the largest scale and the lar gest number in history. More and more, larger railway stations constantly appear by people’s side. The railway station has the characteristics of large inner space and crowded people. And elevation of the waiting hall make evacuation routes more complex. W hen unexpected events occurs, it easily make the malignant accident that passengers carrying large bags caused serious casualties. Therefore, this paper selects the railway station with elevated comprehensive waiting hall as the research object to explore the possibility of optimization for evacuation efficiency.This paper takes the process of evacuation of personnel waiting hall as the breakthrough point. By using research achievements of safety engineering discipline in crowd evacuation, The computer simulation technology of evacuate the crowd to research simulation of elevated waiting hall staff evacuation.Firstly, this paper describes the background, defines the concept and scope of the research, ensures purpose and significance on railway station buil ding evacuation efficiency, and defines the research object that elevated comprehensive waiting hall in railway station. The second chapter elaborates the related concept of evacuation efficiency and study on basic theory and thinking method related induct ion. The foundation and direction of research goal is to optimize the available safe egress time ASET and the required safety egress time RSET. The main research method is the evacuation simulation. And then establish the overall research ideas of elevated comprehensive waiting hall evacuation efficiency optimization in the railway station. In the following third chapters, by constructing Harbin west railway station evacuation model and doing evacuation simulation by “Simulex”. And then statistic simulation data to find fthe adverse factors of bottleneck area in the evacuation process. From the time optimal level, it put forward different optimal hypothesis and using the optimized simulation control variable method. By the way of comparing data, it analysis different simulation results reasons, and then verify the hypothesis of different optimal methods. The fourth chapter is the core of the full text. Based on the analysis of the simulation results in the third chapters, it puts forward to specific optimal strategy for elevated comprehensive waiting hall in railway station evacuation efficiency. It mainly includes the required safety egress time RSET optimal strategy, the available safe egress time ASET optimal strategy andevacuation system optimal strategies in three aspects.This paper is taking the using of interdisciplinary as the bright spot. And it based on objective experimental basis. It seek optimal strategies for elevated comprehensive waiting hall of railway station evacuation efficiency. It Not onl y enriches the research of building security theory of railway station, but also provides more ideas for the railway station building evacuation design in the future. It has great theoretical and practical significance.
