With the economic development and social progress, culture undertakings and sports undertakings flourish. The number of large space public buildings increases more and more quickly, and their sizes also increase. Unlike general buildings, fire could spread rapidly in large space public buildings because of open space and plenty of oxygen. Because of their personnel-intensive, congestion in the evacuation process can easily occur, stampede and other accidents, making it significantly difficult to evacuation.At present researches on evacuation safety are mainly in the performance-based analysis of qualitative interpretation and actual cases of design strategies. Digital simulation starting from the architectural design point of analysis whose application to the design practice is the relative lack of research.Under this background, in view of the common forms of large space public buildings, in this paper I attempt to study the evacuation in the way of analogue simulation, from two aspect: the horizontal and vertical transportation. In the first place, this article analyzes the relevant standards of large public architectures design, using SIMULEX fit them and simulate with the method of Simple Variable. Through the quantized data and visual evacuation process, we put forward some valuable coping strategies. To specify this process and problems, in the last I take a gymnasium as an example, and optimize the evacuation.Nowadays large public architectures make more thinking of functions and out-looking, the construction safety comes second. In this article, with simulation data, we can get some theories and design strategies in evacuation. Although research is still preliminary stage, I believe it means a lot.
