Construction site exists the situation that several construction units conduct varieties of tasks at the same time in close collaboration, work environment is complex, personnel, machinery and materials etc. mobility, the hazards are complex and changeable and exist a lot of uncertainty, safety accidents emerge in endlessly. However, hazards is the basic reason of safety accidents, there are the issues of un comprehensive and not in time by using static and intuitive methods to identify hazards, how to identify hazards in construction sites roundly, timely and effectively has been the primary problem of construction safety management.This paper summarized the research status of hazard identification and the application of RFID technology, studied the theory and method of hazard identification on the construction site based on RFID. Firstly, analyze the dynamics, complexity and uncertainty of hazards on construction site by starting from the characteristics of the project, than divide the hazards into random hazards and fixed hazards, study the conversion relations between the two types of hazards and the accidents causing mechanism, put forward the thoughts to grasp the comprehensive, dynamic and analysis in advance in the process of hazard identification. Secondly, base on the structural analysis of hazards in site, set up the scope and framework of comprehensive hazards identification from the departure of identification and location by RFID for Personnel, materials and machinery, and form the frame structure of initial admission hazard identification and dynamic monitoring of hazard identification. Then, Establish hazards monitoring model on RFID in construction site, summarized hazards monitoring procedures of personnel, material and mechanical by RFID, analyzed on-site hazards monitoring system based on RFID. Finally, the actual case was used to state the hazard identification method based on the above the proposed study.This method of hazard identification based on RFID results to providing a reference to safety management on construction site.
