The country has9.6million square kilometers of earth diverse geographicalfeatures, majestic plateau, undulating mountains, vast plains, hills and low and theresurrounded by mountains in the middle of a small basin. In these strange terraincorresponding to climatic characteristics vary from Mohe, Heilongjiang cold, then hotTurpan Basin all have traces of human reproduction. Humans through the constructionof a house to withstand the harsh climate, traditional houses after long-term naturalselection and evolution, and accumulated a lot of valuable experience in climateadaptation methods. However, most current research on climate adaptation settlementsare monomers, settlements and environmental factors rarely seen around the wholerelationship between research and climate.Papers began to discuss three aspects of the relationship between architecture andclimate factors of climate from building design principles and architectural design forthe study of settlement space below the theoretical groundwork for climate adaptation.Chapter III study of traditional hierarchical settlement space constitutes settlement inaccordance with the scope of the traditional micro-climate classification, divided into:flat type, valley type, backing type, slope-type four, the paper is selected as theresearch object flat type. Then by comparing the description of the terrain and climatecharacteristics of traditional flat-type settlements. The fourth chapter settlement spatialform the external environment, internal environment of space settlement patterns andthree levels of residential monomer derived discuss their climate adaptation strategies, the conclusion that the ground-based space form by combining traditional settlementthree levels of climate adaptation strategy. The fifth chapter on climate adaptationstrategies through case come to verify the fourth chapter. Based on previous research houses monomer climate adaptation research results, the traditional form of settlement space environment associated with climate adaptation, breaking the previous single study of residential status of the monomer climateadaptation and use of computer software for this article the simulation for the study ofclimate adaptation of traditional houses provide a new way of thinking and researchmethods. I hope you can make a little guide to modern architecture in terms ofimproving the living environment and green energy.
