In recent years, the real estate downturn, which is closely related to the continued rising of the price of land and house in first-tier cities and second-tier cities, heat constantly, and governments have also introduced the restriction policy. But below the county-level, the rigid demand for housing remains strong. In this context, in order to response to the appeal of Shouguang government to make the integration of urban and rural, balanced construction and culture construction, and to meet the urgent needs of Shouguang residents for improving the living environment and urban landscape, Shouguang Fubon Real Estate Co. Committed the transformation of the environment of Shouguang, to promote the mutual integration of physical and cultural resources, so they proposed the Shuimuqinghua real estate development projects. The project is in line with the requirements of national industrial policies and Shouguang urban planning, not only conforms to the appeal of scientific planning and orderly construction of Shouguang municipal government, at the same time, help to improve the living conditions of residents in Shouoguang, but also promoting the development of related industries, stimulating economic growth and developing the local economy. Meanwhile, once the real estate has been launched, its size is usually relatively large and also the time and cost, plus the limitation of the technical and management ability, therefore, the carry on of the project is also accompanied by a very big risk. So, we must strengthen the management of project construction progress, it not only ensure the normal work schedule of the construction, but also to improve their own competitive advantages.This paper starts from the general methods of the definition of schedule management and schedule plan control in project management, discussed the approach of general construction project schedule management. Then, according to the actual situation of the construction of Shuimuqinghua No.26 residential building, analyzing the characteristics, management focus, overall objective of this project to make a foundation for the following schedule plan. Through the relevant theoretical approaches, and with the WBS, work responsibilities matrix and the estimation of the task duration to make depth research on the project schedule management. This paper makes the work structure explaining, WBS codes, then based on them, carried out the working time and the estimation and determination of the duration. Thereafter, using relevant software technology to drawn the arrow diagram and Gantt chart and determine the critical path of the project, and then calculate the total possible duration of the project, as well as the probability of the control work completed during the period. Then, discussed the basic process and principles of the process control. Determining the routine which is based on the dynamic monitoring, error analysis and project progress updates to effectively control the project, thus achieving the objectives of the project progress management.To ensure the project of Shuimuqinghua No.26 residential building can be effectively controlled, this paper from the organization and management, technology, labor, material, winter rainy season, rewards and penalties rules and other aspects to make the support mechanism for project progress control. To ensure the smooth implementation of the Shuimuqinghua No.26 residential building, while maximizing the efficiency of resource, improving overall management level to ensure the achievement of the goals of project progress.
