| The evaluation criteria and process in the mainstream design competitions are commonly based on the judges’personal criteria of beauty, professional competence and experience, which is very subjective and affects the reasonability and scientificalness of evaluation results. Driven by the background of innovative design, it is necessary to make further research on the evaluation system and method of innovation design competition in order to adapt to the development of innovative design and ensure the objectivity and accuracy of the evaluation.The focus of the paper is to establish a set of reasonable evaluation criteria and method that can be practiced in the innovation design competition, and to develop a comprehensive design competition service and management system as well.The research results are as follows:(1) A reasonable set of comprehensive evaluation system based on the innovation design elements is set up to achieve comprehensive and thorough assessment. The selection of evaluation index is scientific and feasible.(2) Analytic hierarchy process and the fuzzy evaluation approach are applied in the assessment system. The experimental verification shows that this evaluation system can increase efficiency at the primary stage in the large-scale design competitions, and, to a certain context, ensure the scientific and accuracy of the evaluation results.(3) A comprehensive design contest evaluation system is created to provide a variety of services including news broadcast, participation, evaluation and management, etc. It is easy to use, and also typical of refreshing interface, concision, accuracy, and easy operation. It’s very convenient and the users do not need to install any additional programs.In addition, this research will provide theory and data support for the development of innovation design. |
