The ball reducer is a novel speed reducer which has the advantages of simple structure, light weight, low manufacturing cost and can achieve large transmission ratio, it can satisfy the actual engineering application in high reduction ratio, the demand of high precision, low noise,and miniaturization. In order to promote innovation and development of miniaturization, large reduction ratio gear reducer, overcome the problem of the theory research and the slow development of the ball reducer, It will be a certain theoretical value and practical guiding significance to carry out the research on the relevant aspects of the ball reducer, to improve the design method of the ball reducer, the design and development of a new type of ball reducer. This study focuses on the subject of the new ball reducer, the existing ball reducer on the basis of theoretical model on the parametric design and structure dynamic analysis. The research contents include the following three aspects:Firstly, Aiming at the deficiency of the ball reducer design theory, the research on the theory design method of the new type ball reducer is carried out. According to the basic structure of the ball reducer, the transmission rule is analyzed in detail, the motion trajectory equation of the new type of ball reducer is deduced and established, and the model of the virtual assembly is established. The results of the study can provide the basic support for the structural analysis of a new type of ball reducer.Secondly, in view of the new ball reducer speed regulation characteristic and torque efficiency is not clear, based on multi-body dynamics theory of dynamic characteristics of a ball reducer movement and dynamics research. Establish the virtual prototype of kinematics and dynamics and to carry out simulation analysis by ADAMS software, get the displacement, velocity, acceleration and other motion response laws and dynamic characteristics of key parts, In the theoretical study of the analysis results for validated the rationality of the established mathematical model.Finally, In view of the design of new type ball reducer parts structure is reasonable, carry out finite element stress analysis based on the key components, establishment of key components and transient motion of the mechanical characteristics of the power transmission, carriy out the structural rationality and strength evaluation of each part by means of stress deformation cloud.This research is the development and improvement of the new design theory of the new ball reducer, which has important research significance. Also help to promote the new ball reducer in the actual production to get better application.
