This topic originates from a research project. This project is to develop a comprehensive performance test system for hydraulic and transmission components. In this system, the high-power hydraulic pumps and hydraulic motors performance test system is designed base on the energy recycling technology. The system speed and system pressure need to be a constant-value in process of the test. Therefore, which methods can be use to speed up the control process of system speed and pressure is a problem that needs to be solved.Focusing on the problem, this paper makes a probing analysis of the test process and theoretically discussed the forms of the systematic characteristics for the control process of constant-value, and the computing method for the overshoot and adjustment time will be given in this paper. On this basis, This paper presents a constant value control method bases on characteristics for the control system which includes the control resolution, amplitude overshoot and time overshoot. The dates for the systematic characteristics can be obtained by experiments. Experimental result shows that the test time of this method is reduced by about 52.4% than before. The convergence rate of the constant value control process and the test work efficiency are significantly improved.This paper is divided into six parts. At first, this paper introduces the topic selection background, significance and methods frequently used in constant-value control system. Secondly, this paper has a deep discussion on the theoretical problem we met and the computing method for the amplitude overshoot and time overshoot will be given. Thirdly, the composition of the test system and the working process is introduced. Fourthly, introduces the basic experiments and the design of the control method and its’ implementation process. At last, draw a conclusion.
