In recent years, along with the process of urbanization in our country , the scale of the urban street light management system is becoming larger ,energy consumption and the difficulty of management gradually revealed Internet of things is becoming increasingly popular and with the develop ment of related technologies, people come to realize the importance of the combination of information technology and applications in life. The mat ure of Internet of things network structure, sensing equipment research an d development progress and the change of computer network software tec hnology makes it possible for a intelligent street lamp lighting system bas ed on the Internet of things.In this paper, combined with the concept of intelligent community, i ntelligent street lamp lighting system based on iot was designed and impl emented. In this system, each lamp terminal is installed with a wireless se nsor for sending and collecting field data, and then related module sends collected information to a centralized controller by wireless communicati on. Centralized controller is responsible for the interaction and remote mo nitoring management as well as the execution of orders, achieving the pur pose of flexible control for each street lamp. Main work includes:(1) A type of concentrated controller was designed and implemented In hardware aspect, the centralized controller mainly includes several ke y modules:ARM core circuit, power circuit, USB part of the circuit, FPG A and its circuit configuration, GPRS wireless communication module, Z igBee wireless communication module, clock module, etc. In software, th is paper introduces mainly on programming based on hardware part to im plement some functions, such as automatic computing sun rise and down time according to its geographic location, so as to realize the control of th e single lamp switch time.(2) This paper designs and implements a remote monitoring manage ment platform. The platform is based on J2EE development platform, and it uses the ArcGIS geographic information system. It collects the termina 1 voltage, current, power, and the light intensity for analysis, implements r eal-time monitoring of all the lights in the whole system, and provides the control mode, alarm information management, equipment maintenance a nd management and report management module for personnel to maintain the lamps at any time.
