With the rapid development of China’s high speed railway network as well as the continuous improvement of the logistics industry, it provides a good historical opportunity to develop high speed railway express freight business. China Railway Corporation in June 2013 when the reform of rail freight made it clear that join the competition fully of logistics with the advantage of high speed railway network, CRE also developed high speed railway express freight business in 151 cities, which laid the foundation for the development of high speed railway express freight services. However, high speed railway express freight business in our country still keep in its infancy, so this paper is aimed to be a useful exploration to our country develop high speed railway express freight business. The major research contents are summarized as follow:(1) Problems analysis on high speed railway organizing express freight transportation. On the basis of analyzing the market demand of high speed railway express freight transportation, market positioning of high speed railway express freight transportation is studied. Then three products of high speed railway express freight transportation are designed, including the "day of", "next morning"," next day", and the box loading mode and organization principle of express freight in high speed railway is put forward. At last combined with China’s actual situation analysis on the basis of practical experience in domestic and international high speed railway freight transportation, four modes of high speed railway for our country to develop express freight transportation are proposed, namely CRH confirmed car, passenger and freight coexistence in the same car, passenger and freight coexistence in the different car, high speed railway express train.(2) Train-goods coordination analysis on high speed railway organizing express freight transportation. Based on the analysis of body structure and the existing equipment in high speed railway, the selection of loading equipment, dimensions designation of container vessel and loading.program are researched for four modes of high speed railway express freight respectively, then the logistics box-based loading solutions without transformed car and logistics-box loaded solutions in container cage again with transformed car are put forward.(3) Station-goods coordination analysis on high speed railway organizing express freight transportation. From the start of analyzing the core business functions of stations, the basic requirements of the station operations are proposed. According to four modes of high speed railway express organization, express freight operation center, loading platform and goods channels of station are discussed in detail. At last, the operation content of the transmission and arrival and appropriate process within the stations are analyzed.(4) Study on the loading and unloading operations plan of high speed railway express freight transportation. The loading and unloading operations plan of high speed railway express freight transportation is designed on the basis of the existing high speed railway passenger organization, the premise is how to choose high speed railway freight transportation services station, and then determine the high speed railway express freight stops organizational scheme, the aim is to meet the needs of high speed railway freight transportation without affecting the high speed railway passenger organization. The model on high speed railway express freight loading and unloading scheme is proposed by the constraints of EMU train transport capacity, transport time, high speed railway station operational capacity and other conditions to minimize the total number of high speed railway freight stop station. In order to evaluate the effectiveness of model, an example based on Beijing-Shanghai line is taken.
