Digital electronic governor’s control strategy determines its performance. The performance of governor directly determines the stability and economy of diesel engine. Many of those digital electronic governors adopt traditional PID as control law. The traditional PID controller has many good characters, such as simple structure, high reliability and stability, but it cannot satisfy the control requirement at every work condition. So it is necessary to study the control strategy of digital electronic governor.This article supported from the simulation tool MATLAB/SIMULINK builds the mathematical models of actuator and speed control system to diesel engine, the author does the simulation research of speed control system to diesel engine. By analyzing the PID control,Fuzzy control and neural network theory establish the Fuzzy PID controller and BP neural network controller, the simulation results show that the control effect of Fuzzy PID controller and BP neural network PID controller is superior to PID controller. Through the comparative analysis chose Fuzzy PID control for further research. In order to overcome the disadvantage of closed-loop feedback control, Fuzzy feedforward and Fuzzy PID controller is established by introducing the load feedforward signal into the Fuzzy PID control system, and the simulation results show that the Fuzzy feedforward and Fuzzy PID controller can significantly reduce the overshoot of the system. Writing the signal acquisition and processing procedures, fuzzy procedures and look-up table procedures based on S7-200PLC.
