Nature And Artificial-Green Product & Green Design Of Under The Dome

Under the Dome –a Chinese environmental investigation made by Chai Jing has triggered a new topic of ecological design within design industry worldwide. In the history of human’s agricultural and industrial civilization, we cost natural environment in exchange of economic growth. As the result, we would face human survival issue after we breached the balance of ecological system on earth. Luckily, rational thinking has applied to overlook our current lifestyle and values created by last human’s agricultural and industrial civilization. Under the circumstances of environment protection, industry design has coordinated the idea of harmonious coexistence with human and nature, and been treated as the first priority of industry designer’s philosophy. Learn from the last lesson of product’s value and green design, green design becomes the most important part of product design activities.Based on the domestic and international research of ecological design, this thesis investigated the balance to satisfy customer’s demand and the design of ecological product. The design history and its latest situation have been researched, in order to draw the picture of environmental friendly design’s future trend. Systematic study method, case study method and Inductive inference study method have been applied in this thesis, the problems from product design, environment design and promotion management areas have been identified. In introduction paragraph, the sustainable development, ecological design’s history and current status are systematically outlined, and the Idea of green design has proposed. The execution of ecological design in real life was researched for the green products in the third paragraph, including pleasant, reduce, modularity, multi function, technological process, continuation period, cyclic regeneration, environmental material use. The development forecast of green design was made in the fourth paragraph, which proposed that no familiar, redesign, local design, ethic design, shared design will be needed in the green design. Finally, the research results were provided.
