The Research Of Yan’an Green Space Planning For Avoiding Natural Disasters

With the rapid development of social economy, the acceleration of urbanization and the increasing number of citizens in china, the effect of human activities on the environment is increasing. Thus, all kinds of natural disasters are constantly emerging, such as earthquakes, typhoons, floods, fires and other natural disasters. They put a serious threat to people’s lives and property and the normal development of the city, leading to a large number of casualties and major economic losses. So, in the view of the insufficient recognition of urban disaster prevention and mitigation of green space planning in China, we have summed up more than 10 design principles and basic requirements of green space planning for city to avoid these disasters, by reviewing literature, studying case, drawing the methods and historical experiences of the developed countries in this area and other outstanding urban examples.In this study, We investigated and analyzed the status quo of Yan’an green space system and pointed the existed problemes by analyzing geographic position, geologic structure, terrain situation and meteorological condition, counting up the types and frequencies of these natural disaster in history and the main natural disaster in recent years, combining with the characteristics of these disasters of Yan’an City.According to Yan’an City master plan, we put forward to the principles and basic requirements of green space planning for Yan’an city to avoid these disasters, which are the balanced layout, more convenience and nearness, spatial planning, long-term plan, given priority to walking, fully function and comprehensive plan. Besides, we also proposed the elements of Yan’ an green space system for avoiding calamity, and constructed the exactly green space system to avoiding natural disasters. In recent 3 years, it has been proven that these principles in this study are feasible and effective. In conclusion, we hope this paper could provide a reference for Yan’an avoiding calamity green system construction, and meanwhile arouse local government and researchers the attention of avoiding calamity green system construction, in order to reduce people’s life and property losses when the disasters come. What’s more, it also could provide reference for other parts of the country.
