The globoid indexing cam device is composed of several parts, in which, a typical part is the globoid indexing cam mechanism. This mechanism plays a role in the transformation from the continuous motion of input shaft to the intermittent motion of output shaft. Globoid indexing cam device has many advantages, such as smooth motion, accurate positioning, seamless transmission, high indexing precision, good high-speed performance, large transmission torque, compact structure, small volume and low noise. So, the globoid indexing cam can be adapted to the development trend of high speed, high precision, and automation, and so that then is has been widely used in automatic machinery and production line.The globoid indexing cam device has wide application prospect. However, its dynamic research is so theoretical that cannot be linked with the actual, and its performance test is always a weak link. The characteristics of this cam isn’t often tested, just because of it’s the test difficulty and the lack of the dynamic testing equipment.In this thesis, the dynamic model of globoid indexing cam mechanism is established based on the knowledge of mechanical dynamics and actual working conditions, and the dynamic analysis is carried out in detail, which improves the accuracy of the theoretical analysis. At the same time, the research and development for dynamic characteristic testing system of globoid indexing cam device is carried out by utilizing virtual instrument, sensor technology, computer and bus technology, which provides a theoretical basis and technical support for the dynamic test of globoid indexing cam mechanismThe main contents can be described as follows:Firstly, the dynamic model of globoid indexing cam mechanism was established and analyzed. Under the guide of the system model, the rigid flexible coupling dynamic model of the globoid indexing cam mechanism was established by using ANSYS and ADMAS software.Secondly, the overall scheme of the dynamic test bench was designed and its digital model was built. At the same time, the author selected the appropriate components and sensors to ensure the feasibility of the dynamic testing workThirdly, the human-computer interaction interface of dynamic test system is designed. Meanwhile, the author wrote the program for data acquisition system, load control system and driver control system. Lab VIEW was used to write the user application program which can collect and handle signal, save test data in time, and display multiplex signals. Signal processing includes wave filtering, FFT, power spectrum analysis, and so on.Finally, the thesis introduced a dynamics analysis theory of the globoid indexing cam mechanism, software design theory of Lab VIEW, especially displayed development process of software system.
