Research On The Design Strategy Of Community Elderly Apartments For Aging In Place

With the aging of the population in our country,under the "9073" basic pension service system advocated by the state,nearly 97% of the elderly choose to solve their pension problems in the community environment they are familiar with in the way of living in place.Looking at the mature old-age service experience in foreign countries,in the face of the demands of living in place,the main methods are to provide suitable housing for the elderly in the community and build community apartments for the elderly.At present,the aging-friendly renovation of existing residences in old communities has been carried out on a large scale in my country,but the construction of community elderly apartments in communities that provide centralized living for the elderly and include diversified supporting services such as meals,entertainment,leisure,and nursing care New building types are still relatively rare.Therefore,it is of positive practical value to analyze the actual needs,learn from foreign experience,and study the design methods and strategies of community apartments for the elderly,which is of far-reaching significance for enriching and improving the residential building system for the elderly.This paper starts with the relevant theories and basic research on home care for the elderly,sorts out the characteristics of the elderly who are willing to live in community apartments for the elderly,and the basic theories of place attachment and peopleenvironment matching.Combined with excellent foreign case studies,it summarizes the lessons that can be used for reference.experience.Then,we selected four similar domestic community elderly apartment practice cases for in-depth field research,and studied the design characteristics from the aspects of occupant population,overall layout,individual design,public space and living space design;Carry out actual research on the willingness to provide for the elderly in terms of the attributes of the apartment population,living conditions,needs for the elderly,and residential space.In the end,the corresponding design principles were put forward based on the concept of home care for the elderly,and the design strategies of community elderly apartments were explored and proposed focusing on the overall design,individual design,housing design,and detailed space design for the elderly.In the community construction,the community elderly apartment,a new type of housing suitable for the elderly,can be provided as a design reference.
