The marshalling station plays a pivotal role in the process of railway cargo transportation.The core of the marshalling station is the shunting operation hump.The safety and efficiency of the hump operation directly affects the overall technical level and operation efficiency of the marshalling station.With the development of the automation system of the marshalling station,the humping speed control system can be improved.The traditional "look up table method" has poor overall adaptability in determining the outlet speed of retarder because its classification is relatively rough and it can not take the external climate environment factor into consideration in real time.Therefore,a new humping speed control model is needed to meet the increasing demand of hump shunting operation.This paper analyzes and summarizes relevant research results at home and abroad,and combines the calculation method of the braking capacity of the hump reducer,explains the shortcomings of the traditional look-up table method.Based on previous studies,the hump vehicle’s rolling wind resistance was re-analyzed and deduced.According to the original wind tunnel data and the blowing model,the ordinary least squares was used to fit the wind resistance function,and according to the wind speed,Wind direction,vehicle speed and total speed,derive the wind resistance relational expressions about vehicle speed,wind speed and wind direction,and obtain the wind resistance formula which is more suitable for computer calculation.In this paper,the hump vehicle rolling process is regarded as a non-uniform speed change motion,and the differential theory is used for reference,the vehicle rolling process is divided into multiple small sections,and the segmented superimposed calculation formula of the vehicle free rolling is constructed.Then,according to the different braking tasks undertaken by the retarder,the calculation model for the interval brake exit speed of the one-part retarder and the target brake exit speed model of the three-part retarder are constructed and perfected.On this basis,the braking function of the hump retarder Optimize the configuration,the calculation model of the outlet speed of the two-position retarder with both the interval braking and the objective braking is established,realize the purpose of the brake function forward,so as to achieve the effect of saving engineering investment and daily maintenance costs.Finally,refer to the actual hump case,use the computer language to develop the speed retarder speed solving system,realize the real-time calculation of the vehicle exit speed and the braking capacity required by the reducer by using the external climate environment,and then use this system to analyze and check the advancement of part of the braking function of the actual case and the advancement of all the purpose of the braking function,and complete the braking ability matching study of the hump reducer.
