Research On Cargo Bogie Reasonable Height Of Straddle Train Units Not Passing Hump

Regulations of cargo bogie reasonable height in Chinese Railway Cargo Loading and Reinforcement Rules were calculated considering straddle train units pass hump. In fact, most of the straddle train units don’t pass the hump, and the cargo bogie reasonable height would be surplus if the regulations were referenced.In this paper, research on cargo bogie reasonable height of straddle train units not passing hump has been done, and main content as follow:(1)The factors influencing cargo bogie reasonable height were analyzed. According to geometric states of the train units on vertical curve, the change rules of distance between cargo and vehicle floor were researched, and the calculation formulas of cargo bogie reasonable height was deducted considering the vehicle’s vibration, cargo deflection and other factors.(2)The structure and main characteristics of NX 17k, freedoms of each components, action relations of cargo, cargo bogie and car body are analyzed, sensors detecting change of distance between cargo and vehicle floor were set, and finally the simulation models of straddle train units were established in SIMPACK.(3)Under the condition of track irregularity, the simulation calculations were done. And simulation models were testified to be reasonable after contrasting simulation results with theoretical calculation of distance between cargo lower surface and vehicle floor in chapter 2.(4)The change rules of distance between cargo and vehicle floor influenced by the two cargo bogies spacing and straddle transportation form were studied, and the worst condition and maximum value of the distance dynamic reduction were found. Then the calculation formulas in second chapter were perfect. Finally, the calculation formulas of cargo bogie reasonable height of straddle train units not passing hump were determined.
