Based on the summary of transmission lines engineering routing optimization method and means at the present stage,our country puts forward the Tabu Search,a kind of heuristic intelligent algorithm,which will be applied to the analysis of routing optimization and implementation plan,through the deepanalysis and thorough research.According to a specific engineering example,paper will examine and verify the feasibility of this proposal.The main resesrch results in the paper are as follows:Paper analyze the important role of routing optimization research in trans-mission lines engineering construction.And paper investigate the various factors which will influence the routing optimization.Routing optimization is the found-ation of other optimizations,which studies the influence on the life cycle costs of every part in the transmission lines engineering project,such as routes,towe-rs,groundings,conductors,insulators,fittings and maintenance.The complexity analysis of routing optimization problem is conducted and it can be transformed into optimalization problem under constraint conditions in operations research and computer science.The factors and decision variables of routing optimization problem.Its computational complexity is high and time-comsuming. It is necessary to select a kind of heuristic intelligent algorithm to analyze it.The basic principles and key elements of Tabu Search algorithm are described,which is more suitable for routing optimization.The routing optimization goal is set to the lowest cost of the whole life cycle. Various external factors affecting routing optimization and their impact on the cost of the routing optimization are made into a cost map,and the map containing all kinds of information is divided into unit blocks.The Tabu Search algorithm of routing optimization model is established,and the various strategies and process flow of the Tabu Search algorithm are studied in the routing optimization.The A* algorithm is adopted to determine the initial solution, so as to improve the quality of the initial solution.The basic scheme of route optimization design platform is established and a variety of methods for obtaining the data required for routing optimization analysis are analyzed.Planning for the requirements and capabilities of the routing optimization design platform is planned.Using the routing optimization model and its working principle,a new 500 kV UHV transmission line project in the southwest of Anhui Province of the routing optimization example analysis is carried out to validate the feasibility and practicability of the model and method for routing optimization based on tabu search.
