Filling type composite pavement is a new type of sofe pavement structure form. It is a new type of pavement that is filled great gap asphalt mixture with rigid pumping material. It can improve the service life of pavement with its characteristics of rigid and flexible. Filling type composite pavement have been carried out extensive research and application abroad, but in china, the research of construction technology and mechanical of filling type composite pavement is still in its infancy. So it has important realistic significance and development prospect to comprehensive research of filling composite pavement to extend the service life of pavement and save maintenance funds.In this paper, on the basis of reference literatures at home and abroad, the mechanical properties of filling type pavement structure were analyzed by using finite element software. At the same time, through the investigation and analysis, the researches of design method of the filling type composite pavement were carried out and determined the relevant technical indicators. By a large number of indoor tests, high temperatures, low temperature, resistance to shear and fatigue performance of filling type composite pavement were analyzed. In order to verify the actual use effect of composite pavement, the test road was carried out and researched of the filling type composite pavement construction technology and quality control. And during the next year, tracking observation was carried out for the test road and the use conditions of test road were analyzed. At the same time, in order to solve the difficult characteristics of filling type composite pavement construction, construction machinery. The main research contents including the following aspects in this paper.According to the results of finite element calculation, filling type of composite pavement structure is used in the asphalt pavement with little effect for the pavement overall mechanical and could be applied in each structural layer of the conventional trunk highways. Calculation shows that with the increasing of total thickness, transverse and longitudinal tensile stress of the surface and bottom layer and the maximal displacement at the top are falling. Under the standard axle load, the top surface maximum displacement of filling type composite pavement are less than conventional asphalt pavement structure, and this indicates that the structure layer has a better ability of resistance to deformation.The design steps of the filling type of composite pavement are determined and the matrix asphalt mixture design, material design and filling type composite pavement mixture design are analyzed. The matrix asphalt mixture gradation scope and technical requirements and filling type composite pavement mixture technical requirements are determined.In order to verify filling materials in the filling type composite pavement, grouting plumpness are put forward according to the indoor experiment research and related data analysis.By comparing the different filling type composite pavement mixture and SBS modified asphalt mixture, the filling type composite pavement mixture were carried out water stability test, high temperature performance test, low temperature crack resistance test, shear test and fatigue test.Through tracking observation of the filling type composite pavement test road, the filling type composite pavement construction technology has been further clarified and refined, and has laid a solid foundation for promotion.The test road has carried on the dynamic modulus and deflection test. Through the analysis of data shows that dynamic modulus of filling type composite pavement was obviously higher than that of the original design of the SBS modified asphalt mixture dynamic modulus. It also illustrates the filling type composite pavement has better resistance to deformation ability than SBS modified asphalt. Under the same condition, it has better bearing capacity and ability to resist rutting with a longer service life.Combining with the relevant research progress at home and abroad and the test road, the present situation of filling type composite pavement construction has carried on the detailed analysis; And according to the analysis results, combining with the characteristics of filling type composite pavement construction and the mechanical for type composite pavement has been researched. Thess equipments can basically meet the need of filling type composite pavement of large-scale construction.
