Modern large-scale subway passenger transport hub has such characteristics as huge building grand, clustering functions, crowded, complicated evacuation route and so on. It is difficult for passengers to evacuate out in emergency like a fire. So how to evacuate all the passengers safely and efficiently in the shortest time is very important for the safety of passengers. Taking Guangzhou XX Subway Station as research object, the safety evacuation from large-scale railway passenger transport hub is studied. The main works and conclusions are as follow:(1) On the basis of on-the-spot investigation of a subway station, analyzes the surrounding circumstances, building structure, prevent smoke extraction system, systematic study of the fires caused by the five elements: human factors, equipment factors, item factors,environmental factors and management factors influence; combining in recent years at home and abroad subway passenger station fire cases, summarizes the different factors that trigger case of fire accident of sexuality.(2)Using FDS software constructs a three-dimensional passenger subway station fire scene model, to simulate the burst fire, 75 s before and after, station flue gas temperature field,spatial concentration distribution of CO and CO2 gas concentration, O2 concentration dissipation. The simulated from the ground height of 1.5m above airspace, different periods of fire smoke temperature, CO and CO2 gas concentration; according to the personnel can stand the threshold of flue gas, planning the evacuation of escape routes.(3)In the system analysis based on fire smoke temperature, concentration by simulation training organization of combat exercises in the training base of a fire. Analysis of psychological and physiological characteristics of personnel, construction building features and fire environment characteristics of structure and other factors to affect the evacuation of personnel during the evacuation process in the most vulnerable state of the three. The Pathfinder software simulation of the personnel in the evacuation process in the usual route and the relationship between the time required; and in a subway station site survey evacuation.(4) In order to improve the subway station evacuation efficiency proposed improve building structure, reduce the amount of total fire load, to strengthen the safety and technical measures etc. preventive measures; put forward perfecting the subway station emergency rescue mechanism, carry out the station staff training of emergency response capability,strengthen fire team subway fire accident disposal capacity building and enhance communications, lighting and protection of personnel and other measures.
