In recent years,with the rapid development of Chinese economic level,subway rail transit has also developed rapidly.However,at the same time of rapid development,people pay more and more attention to the safety of subway operation.Compared with a single subway station,the space structure of the transfer station,personnel,and mobility is more complex,intensive and greater,respectively.Once a fire happens at the transfer station,it will cause more serious casualties and property losses.Therefore,how to evacuate the personnel to a safe area in the fire of a subway transfer station has become the key to ensure life safety and propertyof the personnel.However,there are relatively few studies on the personnel evacuation of subway transfer station in China.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the personnel evacuation of subway transfer stationThe Xi'an North Street Subway Transfer Station is selected as the research object.The evacuation time model is improved on the basis of Chinese "subway design code(GB50157-2013).The walking time of the evacuees on the platform and the station hall,the retention time at the escalator of the building,and the time from the detection of abnormalitie or the hearing of alarm signals to the start of evacuation are brought into the evacuation tim model.This paper establishes a new evacuation time model of the subway transfer station The Pathfinder evacuation simulation results are compared with the results of the improved evacuation time model to verify the rationality and accuracy of the evacuation time model of the subway transfer station.It can provide a basis for the calculation of evacuation time in the actual fire scene of subway transfer station.This paper mainly obtains the following conclusions(1)Taking Xi'an North Street Subway Transfer Station as the research object,this paper simulates the luggage fire with fire source power of 2.5 MW and fire characteristic diameter of 1.4 m.The results show that the available safe egress time is more than 6 min.(2)Pathfinder is used to simulate the evacuation process of the personnel for different fire scenarios.The analysis shows that the required safe egress time for each fire scenario is less than 6 min.The design of the station can ensure that the personnel can reach the safe area within 6 min of safe evacuation time.(3)A reasonable and accurate evacuation time model for subway transfer station is established.Comparing the results of the Pathfinder evacuation simulation with those of the improved evacuation time model,it can be found that the error of two evacuation times is less than 7%,which verifies the rationality and accuracy of the evacuation time model for subway transfer station.(4)Comparing the required safe egress time with the available safe egress time,which is judged that the design of the subway transfer station meets the requirements of safe evacuation.
