Satisfaction Evaluation Of Public Corridor In Guangzhou Zhujiang New Town Core Area

Guangzhou Zhujiang New Town as the most important central business district in South China District has experienced more than 20 years of planning and construction, the core area has been basically completed, but some service facilities still have many problems. Currently, the public corridor of Zhujiang New Town core area is one of the largest continuous gallery system, is also one of the biggest highlights of the urban design of Zhujiang New Town core area. At present, the theoretical research of public corridor is still at preliminary stage in our country. Few of theoretical research on urban public corridor satisfaction evaluation from the user’s point. Therefore, this thesis has a certain academic significance on the evaluation of the public corridor in Zhujiang New Town core area.First of all, this thesis uses the method of literature research and expert evaluation to construct the indicators of the satisfaction evaluation about the public corridor in Zhujiang New Town core area(7 first grade indicators and 27 second grade indicators). Secondly, according to the results of expert evaluation, and through the Analytic Hierarchy Process and Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation to calculate the weight of the indicators, then determine the specific weight of each index. Thirdly, according to indicators of evaluation to develop a questionnaire of satisfaction survey, and through the field interviews and questionnaires to collect the survey data. Finally, the satisfaction evaluation results were obtained by means of statistical analysis.The results show that the overall satisfaction evaluation of the public corridor in Zhujiang New Town core area is 2.47( Based on the Likert Type of Scale), which indicates that users are not satisfied with the public corridor in Zhujiang New Town core area.In order to analyze the main reason for this result, the author will analysis the GT Land Plaza area and Xingsheng Road area in depth, analysis on public corridor existing problems in the area, and proposed the direction of improvement.In addition, the author also found different interest users(managers and the surrounding businesses, surrounding residents and office workers, citizens and tourists) for the satisfaction evaluation of the public corridor results have significant difference. Therefore, aiming at the differences of the three kinds of different interest user evaluation, this study aims to understand the different concerns of the different interest users on the public corridor. The author thinks that the discovery has the value of further research.
