Auto transmission test-bed is important platform of research, development and testing of auto transmission parts. The control system is core and determines function and performance of the transmission test bench. The key technology, such as function,automation and test precision of the control system, restricts the development and application of domestic transmission test bench.Based on the drive and load motor simulation research of bench test, automatic control system of transmission test-bench of electric closed loop was designed in this paper, including hardware selection and software design. The main research contents are as following:(1) The structure and composition of transmission test-bench of electric closed loop was established according to the analysis and compare various projects of transmission test bench. And analyzing and ensuring the main functions and composition of automatic control system.(2) According to the driving and loading methods of transmission test-bed, simulation models of engine was simulated by motor, vehicle was simulated by motor and original vehicle transmission system were established.Simulations of engine was simulated by motor and vehicle was simulated by motor were carried out, simulation results contrast with original vehicle transmission system, results showed that motor can better simulate the dynamic characteristics of engine and the load of the vehicle, and the test environment of transmission system is more close to the real vehicle condition.(3) Automatic control system of transmission test-bed was developed on the basis of VC++ platform. It consists of test, simulation, communication, parameter setting and monitoring module, etc. Control system realized real-time communications with motor frequency converter through 485 bus, and has the ability of simulation engine,vehicle and drive system performance testing, etc.(4) Experiment verifications of motor control module and communication module were made, results showed that the control system can real-time control motor and display parameters, and the control system basically meet the design requirements.
