The Multi-functional rig operations as a major drilling equipment in drilling operations, which is widely used in transportation,water conservancy and hydropower,tunnel construction and mining and all kinds of industries, coupled with the diversity of geographical features in our country, thus gradually becoming an important equipment in mechanized drilling and blasting in our tunnel constructions. In this paper, the multi-function rig is for the study which is researched and developmented by the group, research focuses on two main aspects of the parameters matching of drilling system and the analysis of the whole machine’s performance.Firstly, based on the researches on the development survey of multi-function rig,emphasis analyzed the feature,structure and working principle of multi-function rig which is designed by the group; and use the three-dimensional mechanical design software SolidWorks conducted three-dimensional geometric modeling of rig structure,verifing that there will not occur assembly interference between the parts,and the relative motion also meet the design requirements, which is laid the foundation for the subsequent finite element analysis.Secondly, with the "rock drill- drill rod- rock" as a whole to study, analyzed the relationship between the rock drill drilling efficiency and the influencing factors.based on the theoretical analysis supplemented by software simulation analysis, and draw a corresponding impact law, which provide the basis for the multi-function rig in parameters seting on the drilling efficiency under different constrution conditions.Again, according to the construction situation of multi-function rig,analysis to determine four limit conditions of rig which impact the performance of the whole structure. application of ANSYS Workbench in statics module for multi-function rig under four limit conditions for the static calculation and analysis, draw a conclusion that the strength,stiffness and stability of the designed rig meet the construction requirements, which guaranteeing the safety and reliability of multi-function rig when in job.Finally, application of ANSYS Workbench in Modal module for multi-functionrig under four limit conditions for modal analysis, focusing on the extraction of its first eight-order natural frequency and vibration mode of each cloud, which provides a theoretical reference for the multi-function rig under external excitation reasonable avoiding the resonance region.In this thesis, multi-functional rigs is for the study, focused on the relationship between the efficiency of the multi-function rig and the matching between parameters.and analyse the performance of the whole machine,which provide a theoretical guidance for the efficient,safe and reliable construction of multi-function rig.
