With the development of social economy and science and technology, people are increasingly high requirements for the safety of the car. Anti-lock braking system(ABS) as the vehicle active safety representative device, play an important role to improve vehicle braking performance and improve vehicle driving safety. Therefore, ABS has been developed rapidly and widely used in the automotive field. For the testing and evaluation of the performance of ABS, the road test method is generally used. But the actual road test of the car sometimes need to be carried out in high speed driving, if driver is not operated properly, it is easy to be dangerous. There are no direct questions about the teaching and training of the ABS. In view of the above problems, this paper design a dynamic performance test platform for car ABS to meet the automotive ABS detection, development, teaching and training, and other aspects of the needs.In this paper, the theoretical basis, basic structure and working principle of ABS are deeply analyzed, and the research and analysis of the ABS control strategy is carried out. After the preliminary investigation and theoretical analysis, the model of ABS was built, and the simulation model based on MATLAB/Simulink was built, including 1/4 model, tire model, brake model and controller model. The overall structure of dynamic performance test platform for car ABS for is constructed based on the actual demand. The hardware design of the test platform includes the power transmission system, the electrical control system,the fault diagnosis panel, etc.. The main parts of the hardware of the test platform are introduced and analyzed, including the motor, data acquisition card and so on. Using the virtual instrument software LabVIEW as the development tool, the upper computer software of the dynamic performance test platform for car ABS is designed. Upper computer software system mainly includes data acquisition and analysis system, braking distance measurement system and fault setting system. The dynamic performance test platform for car ABS to be designed mainly solves the following problems:(1) the brake ABS simulation can be realized, through the brake process wheel and friction hub and the relative motion, working process of the ABS is intuitively observed;(2) the change of the speed and the speed of the vehicle, the vehicle speed and the speed of the vehicle, the slip ratio, and the braking distance can be dynamically collected in real time;(3) the actuation of relay which on the fault setting plate can be wirelessly controlled, in order to achieve analog circuit open circuit, short circuit, virtual connection and fault.In the end of this paper, the experimental results and test curves of the dynamic performance test platform for car ABS are obtained,compare with the simulation results and the simulation curves obtained from the simulation experiment, there are basically same. The dynamic performance test platform for car ABS of the essays is feasible is tested.
