With the rapid and steady development of Chinese national economy, heavy motorized wheel dump trucks are used as a major transport more and more popular, and the research of heavy motorized wheel dump truck’s kinetic characteristic has become one of the problems which must be solved. Because of the restrictions of objective reasons, the tests of vehicles on road can not be done. Thus, computer technology has been used to design and improve trucks, and the number of the tests have been reduced a lot. Therefore, the study of heavy motorized wheel dump truck’s kinetic characteristic has great theoretical significance and application value.The quantitative analysis and the optimization of structural parameters in the study of the heavy-duty mining dump truck’s kinematic characteristics, to a large extent, depend on the degree of accuracy in building its kinematic and dynamic modles.And the effect of the numerical parameters’ accurate quantity is self-evident in the study. In this paper, it firstly builds the whole vehicle’s performance and structural parameters of the SF33900 heavy-duty mining dump truck, and then it optimizes and analyses the steering system with the methods of theoretical calculation and software simulation, as well as the front wheel alignment parameters.At the same time, with the building of the whole vehicle simulation modle, it selects several ordinary road conditions and some dangerous ones simulated by dynamics. Based on the result of simulation, the force analysis of the whole vehicle and key parts of the dump truck ensures the vehcile’s performance according with the standard basically. In the paper, it evaluates the performance of the vehicle and puts forward improving proposal to the unfavorable situation.While as to some extreme condition, like concave pits and convex platforms, the downforward slope swerve brake, combining the result of dymunamic simulation analysis, it analyses the strength of the dump truck’s frame under the peak loading of frame dynamic loads to make sure the sufficient strength of the whole vehicle’s frame would meet the daily demand.
