The rapid development of economy and society in the moment, vocational education as animportant part of higher education is playing an increasingly important role in the economic andsocial construction of the first line of training a large number of highly skilled personnel. Withthe popularization of higher education, vocational education scale rapidly expanding, has madegreat progress. As of2012, the country had1,297vocational colleges, students reach964.2million, reaching320.9million graduates. But in recent years the quality of vocational educationpersonnel training is worrying, the problem mainly for the lack of coordination betweenvocational education and the labor market, vocational education and personnel training betweenthe needs of the labor market closely, explore between the two law of development, personneltraining for vocational education and guidance theoretical work practices.In this paper, vocational education, labor market theory basis for the study, analyzed therelationship between vocational education and the labor market, vocational education has a rolein promoting the labor market. Meanwhile, the development of vocational education in the labormarket plays a guiding role. Through data analysis on stage vocational colleges, from the scaleof development, professional setting, curriculum system of vocational education and trainingpathways, faculty and other aspects, explained in detail the status of development of vocationaleducation in China. Market supply and demand on the employment structure of the twoperspectives and current status of supply and demand in the labor market and employmentstructure was specific analysis. Accordingly pointed out the problem of convergence betweenvocational education and personnel training where the labor market, mainly for the unevendevelopment between the scale and quality of the institutions, professional structure andindustrial structure uncoordinated, single-level training objectives, time allocation unreasonablepractice and other issues. Finally, a number of constructive measures and strategies, targetedsolution to vocational education and the labor market out of line problems.
