Changes In The Textile Industry In The Ming And Qing Dynasties

because of the factors of the natural environment, the cotton of Jiading county has developt from the Ming Dynasty to Qing Dynasty,so as the the cotton textile industry, Jiading County cotton textile industry began to decline as late Qing Dynasty. As typical Jiading county development, this article explore the rise and fall of the path and the intrinsic mechanism from the Jiading county to Su Song area textile industry.This article is divided into three chapters, the introduction part introduces the related research about the cotton textile industry, sideline production, small-scale peasant economy of Jiangnan, Jiangnan Town and commodity market. The first chapter introduces Jiading county natural hydrological environment, including analysis on cotton natural factors and internal and external hydrologic transport in more detail, as we opened the prelude to the cotton textile industry research; The second chapter explores the origin and development of the region of the textile industry, cotton textile industry and the development of a more detailed study; Third chapter analyzes the vulnerability of Jiading County cotton textile industry and its cause, the inherent vulnerability of the cotton textile industry is declining and inherent mechanism, the specific reasons for the area under cotton textile industry decline are analyzed.
