Job satisfaction is a hot research topic in the field of organization and management science, which is of great significance for enhancing the organization’s overall performance, reducing operating costs of the organization and realiaing the aim of the organization. There is a close relationship between job satisfaction and its turnover intention. In recent years, the happiness index,the professional pride index and the work enthusiasm index of customs officials have declined in varying degrees as a result of the multiple responses to the adjustments of allowances and subsidies, the turnover conducts is of more common occurrence than ever before. It is an important topic of the current customs’human resource management to analyse the job satisfaction and turnover intention status of the customs officials, to explore how to improve job satisfaction and reduce turnover intention of the customs officialsTaking Huangpu Customs officials as the object of study, Making the use of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory and the former theoretical model questionnaire design, using statistical analysis software, this article is to answer four main aspects:(1) how is the conditions of Customs officials’ job satisfaction? what factors Mainly affect it?(2) How is the customs officials turnover intention? What factors Mainly affect it?(3)Is there significant correlation between the Customs officials’ job satisfaction and its leaving tendency?(4)What kind of effective management measures can we take based on these findings,?The statistical analysis showed that:(1) the work satisfaction of the Customs officials is upper middle lever.Among the24specific factors that affecting Customs officials’ job satisfaction,the most satisfactory factor is the Customs officials’ relationships between colleagues and the most dissatisfied one is salary, and the24specific factors can be divided into five-dimensionaldegrees. That is, satisfaction of physiological needs, security requirements, social needs, respect needs and self-actualization needs satisfaction2) the current turnover intention of the Customs officer is low and is affected by the five dimensions of job satisfaction, showing a negative relationship, among which satisfaction of physiological needs, and satisfaction of self-realization needs are most close related with turnover intention.(3) the Customs officials’ job satisfaction and their turnover intention shows a degree of satisfaction, and the correlation coefficient is-0.44.According to the survey results, this article puts forward the following seven Management Strategies:to improve the welfare of Customs officials; to build fair competition mechanisms for promotion; to carry out the integration into the local link exchanges; to innovate the training pattern benefiting all; to implemente the ideological work of the classification of education; to create a positive and harmonious cultural atmosphere; to strengthen the study of job satisfaction and turnover intention.
