A Study On The Survival Strategy Of China 's Small And Medium - Sized Real Estate Companies Under The International Financial Crisis

It was a heavy shock since the global financial crisis out break in2008. A lot of banks and other companies bankrupted since then, which brought great difficulty to the economy of U.S., and later the difficulty spread over to all over the world. As an important part of the economy, real estate industry met great challenges in the following years as well.To cope with the influence of the global financial crisis, different strategies have been made by different real estate companies. Since strategies are special for different companies in different environment, small real estate companies should have their own strategies in the shock of the global financial crisis.In this dissertation I summarized the theories of business strategy, especially for the real estate companies. And then I analyzed the great influence on China economy brought by the global financial crisis, and the policy responses made by China government. Since the real estate industry is very sensitive to the policies of government in China, I can analyze the change of the real estate market based on the these information.In the strategy analysis part, I chose Sheng Hong Real Estate Co., Ltd.(my own company) as the example, analyzed its business strategy choice based on environment analysis, and find that as for a small real estate company like Sheng Hong, a flexible survival strategy is suitable when meeting a great challenge of the global financial crisis.At the end of this dissertation, I summarized a case of project for example, which is a real estate project carry out by Sheng Hong in the years the global financial crisis spreading all over the world. So this is a case in point to describe how the flexible survival strategy is worked in a small real estate company.
