| Since the1990s, the focus of the global auto industry is starting to shiftcontinuously from traditional developed areas such as Europe, America, Japan andKorean to BRIC countries. Meanwhile, the focus of domestic auto industry shows theobvious trend of transfer from east to west and from coastline to mainland. Under thegood circumstances, Chengdu international Motown has been gradually becomingone of main domestic auto industry bases after about10years development. However,the development of this industry is just big not strong, facing restrictive factors oflacking idea (brain), technology (core) and innovation (blood).In order to realize the regional sustainable development of high-end autoindustry, people have to break this issue by innovating on the development model.Therefore, theoretical study and practical work around technology finance boostingthe regional auto industry and economic development are on the agenda. In order tosolve the issue of auto industry developing lacking innovation (blood) and promotetechnology finance’s practical use in auto industry, this essay does individualizedstudies on necessity, feasibility, choice of development model, realization path, andsupporting measures of Chengdu international Motown developing technologyfinance.Technology finance is a hot theoretical zone. But Auto Technology finance is anew theoretical concept. Based on existing theoretical results of technology finance,aiming at regional key industry, according to author’s specific work experience, thisessay puts forward the concept of auto technology finance for the first time andexplores in concept and practice.
