With the continuous economy development in China, people’s living standard is increasing day by day; international catering enterprises have been entering the Chinese market constantly. At the same time, professional management experience of foreign catering enterprises and the information systems which are based on these experiences are also brought in.According to the research of Papa John’s information system, this thesis analyzed the architecture design of Papa John’s business information system, as well as the key functionality systems which are based on business procedure implementation. In the era of new information technology emerging rapidly, information technology is becoming more and more important to traditional business process of catering industry. The new technology environment has forced the traditional catering chains business make adaptive changes of information technology system. In this thesis, using Papa John’s information system as an example, via studying the innovation of information technology systems of Papa John’s after landing Chinese market and the overall optimization and integration, analyzed the existing issues between system functionality and business procedure, the essential improvement on the demand variance of the original systems and overall implement system integration among variety systems, and then to build a new integrated system platform, in order to solve the issues of functional discrepancy between business requirements and information technology systems.Meanwhile, studied the traditional catering chain enterprises how to experience and deploy key application systems based on new technology and integrated platform to adapt various business requirements during the age of fast technology changing. Hopefully, this thesis could be a good reference for the interested readers and friends of catering chain industry.
