As important agricultural means of production, the fertilizer is no doubt valuable to human beings. Faced with the large population to 1.4 billion people and the amount of arable land per people, the problem how to assure safe security will be the biggest challenge to keep our society safe and stable in China. With the improvement of fertilizer use efficiency, various kinds of field crop and economic crop raise crop yields continuously. Meanwhile, fertilizer transforms the farmers’ planting habit from original free-like growth planting into professional planting, attached to the farmer gradually, and raises their own income. Challenged with marketability in fertilizer industry, A Fertilizer Corporation is also faced with the leaping development stratagem and new opportunity. As our country focus on agriculture in Document No.1 of the Central Government those years and provide with a clear directional guide to the agricultural development strategy for the future, the paper puts forward corresponding plan with the analysis of SWOT aimed to give some reference and suggestion to the decision maker in A Fertilizer Corporation.On the basis of internal and external condition of knowledge management theory, the paper analyzes with the SWOT Analysis, IFE/EFE, Five Force Model and others. It provides with the following aspects: The opportunities of external factors include government relations, position in industry, distribution network and export situation; the threats of external factors include fertilizer resources, industrial machinery, competitive industry, increasing manpower cost and so on; the strengths of inner factors include various brand, financial expense, diverse product models, overall indicator, synergism and so on; the weaknesses of inner factors include decreasing profitability, insufficient marketing capability, low level of management and so on. Therefore, the corporation should formulate corresponding strategy to optimize upstream enterprise, deepen downstream distribution, enhance technical research and development capabilities, and tamp marketing capabilities, so as to achieve new breakthroughs on its future operation.
