Research On Evaluation Of Scientific And Technological Innovation Ability Of Tourism Industry

Scientific and technological innovation is the first productivity of modern development of tourism, and in the new era and the macroeconomic environment, scientific and technological innovation is the route one for tourism promotion, so scientific and technological innovation ability cultivation and improvement is the key to the development of the tourism industry science and technology innovation. However, the method have not been systematically to evaluate the scientific and technological innovation ability of tourism industry at home and abroad, and the concept of scientific and technological innovation ability of tourism industry also lacks a comprehensive clear understanding. So, this study puts scientific and technological innovation of the tourism industry as a breakthrough point, and constructs the evaluation index system of the scientific and technological innovation ability, and takes Nanjing city as an example of empirical research to analysis of the tourism industry from 2004 to 2012 the change trend of science and technology innovation ability and the main problems, then proposes the optimal strategies of Nanjing tourism industry development of science and technology innovation.The main conclusions are as follows:Firstly, clearly define the connotation of scientific and technological innovation ability of tourism industry, and from the foundation of innovation ability, devoted ability and output ability three aspects to construct the evaluation index system of science and technology innovation ability of tourism industry. Secondly, the weights of technology innovation devoted ability and output capacity in tourism industry is higher than the based weight in the weighted evaluation index system, becoming the key factor of evaluation tourism industry science and technology innovation ability, and the greatest impact of the six indicators is the transformation rate of scientific achievements, the proportion of graduate student degree of science and technology personnel, tourism research and development investment intensity, tourist activities of science and technology investment proportion of total investment number, wisdom scenic spots and tourism invention patent authorization number.Thirdly, Nanjing tourism industry technology innovation ability development is the overall level ascending trend from 2004 to 2012, and science and technology innovation ability maintains the good momentum of development, however its main composition index development is imbalance, and the based ability and input ability is roughly the same, and the development of output capacity is the lowest level (except 2009). Among them, the development of economic base, technology base and the financial input is more stable and higher levels, and policy basis and the development level of knowledge transformation is weaker, but also grows quickly, and the manpower development level is rising, and the volatility of development of knowledge output is larger and unstable. Fourthly, from the perfect innovation environment, strengthening the innovative talents support, enhancing the innovation output capacity three aspects to put forward the optimization countermeasure to promote science and technology innovation ability of Nanjing city.In the aspect of theory, this study defines the connotation of science and technology innovation ability of tourism industry and sets up the index system to measure the ability of technology innovation of the tourism industry to provide theoretical guidance and scientific explanation of cultivating and developing the innovative ability of science and technology of the tourism industry, and enriches the theory of industrial innovation and tourism development theory. In the aspect of practice, through the evaluation of the scientific and technological innovation ability of Nanjing city tourism industry, and putting forward the countermeasures of optimization can provide reference for relevant departments to formulate relevant policies to promote structural adjustment and the optimization and upgrading of Nanjing tourism industry. At the same time, the establishment of evaluation index system, can be used to evaluate the ability of innovation of science and technology of other city tourism industry and has great popularization and application value in the development of city tourism industry.
