Dabie Mountain areas are the exceptional poverty areas approved by our government. With the increasing growth of population and rapid development of economy and society, the problem of land resources scarcity with bigger population has become more and more serious and has already hindered the areas’sustainable development. It is necessary to understand the current situation and development trend of carrying capacity of resources. In this paper the study area is Dabie Mountain areas which are the exceptional poverty areas in our country. Every county in these areas include is the research unit. The establishment of a system of indicators, highlighting the expression of production, taking into account ecological "nature-economy-ecology" index evaluation system. Compared with the real condition of Henan, Hubei, Anhui and other six provinces of central China, this research aims to have a detailed analysis of the comprehensive relative resources carrying capacity together with the natural, economical and ecological situations and it’s dynamic changes of Dabie Mountain areas by adopting an upgraded relative resources carrying capacity model. The research result indicates that:the main resources of Dabie Mountain areas are natural and ecological resources, the carrying capacity of economical resource is relatively low, and most counties’comprehensive carrying capacity there is slightly overloaded. By2015, the Dabie Mountains Area economic resources carrying capacity overload rate and integrated resource carrying capacity overload rate can be controlled, carrying capacity of ecolo gical resources will be further improved, and the carrying capacity of natural resources decline, the state of overload.
