In recent years, along with rapid economic development, excessive consumption of resources andenergy and environmental pollution problems have became increasingly prominent, people have tothink about how to protect the environment and conserve resources. In such a context, the Stateproposed the development of recycling economy great strategic approach, and the waste productremanufacturing as an important part of the development of circular economy. Today, remanufacturing,due to its excellent economic and environmental benefits are increasingly recognized by businesses,more and more enterprises begin to pay real action to carry out remanufacturing business. However,the remanufacturing industry in China is still just getting started, the relevant policies, technologies andmarket operation mechanism and other aspects need to improve and need more experts and scholars inthis field to do some instructive researches for remanufacturer.This paper mainly automobile engine remanufacturing for the study, a number of issues for theindustry are analyzed. First, a lot of reading a remanufactured engine remanufacturing discussed on thebasis of relevant literature development engine remanufacturing industry in China feasibility. From thepolicy, technology, market, economic and environmental benefits, etc. to discuss the feasibility of this.Remanufacturing operation mode is an enterprise required to enter this industry face. According to themain operation were divided into three categories, the original manufacturer (OEM) mode of operation,independent remanufacturers (IR) mode of operation and scattered small remanufacturers (SSR) modeof operation. These three models have merit, but after re-manufacturing costs from the engine price,economies of scale and market demand and other aspects of comprehensive comparisons ofindependent remanufacturers (IR) mode of operation is more consistent with the development ofcurrent Chinese engine remanufacture industry.Remanufacturing logistics network design is the basisfor the development of the remanufacturing industry and key, and logistics facilities siting logisticsnetwork design is an important part. In this paper, remanufacturing reverse logistics as the researchobject, the establishment of an integrated site selection and inventory optimization nonlinear integerprogramming model, the objective function for the minimum cost, and the use of genetic algorithms tosolve the model, and provided a example to verify the feasibility of the model.
